Neck Pain, Acupuncture Viable Outcomes

Acupuncture is a type of traditional Chinese medicine that involves inserting a thin needle or mutable needles into specific points of the body to alleviate pain and promote healing. A growing body of research has explored the effectiveness of acupuncture in treating various types of pain, including neck pain.

One study published in the Journal of Pain Research investigated the efficacy of acupuncture for neck pain and found that patients who received acupuncture experienced significant reductions in pain intensity and disability compared to those who received sham or no treatment. The researchers also found that acupuncture was a safe and well-tolerated treatment option for patients with neck pain.

Another study published in the European Journal of Pain compared the effectiveness of acupuncture to physiotherapy in treating chronic neck pain. The results showed that acupuncture was just as effective as physiotherapy at reducing pain and improving function in patients with chronic neck pain. Furthermore, patients who received acupuncture reported higher satisfaction with their treatment than those who received physiotherapy.

These findings suggest that acupuncture may be a viable treatment option for neck pain, particularly for those who have not responded well to conventional treatments like physical therapy or medication. Additionally, because acupuncture does not involve the use of pharmaceuticals, it may be a safer treatment option for patients who cannot tolerate or who are trying to avoid prescription drugs or medications.

How To Choose An Acupuncturist, Seven Key Factors To Consider Before You Book While acupuncture is effective for neck pain in many medical journals and medical studies, more research is needed to fully understand its mechanisms of action in Western medicine. These early studies suggest that acupuncture is a promising treatment option for neck pain and may provide relief for those suffering from this debilitating condition. I have an old injury from a car accident that has flared up again. Nate performed cupping and acupuncture on my back. I instantly feel better and I look forward to coming back for my next session which is next week. I look forward to the lifestyle that I can create to improve my overall health

I had some serious neck pains due to work and stress/anxiety. I tried massage, creams and balms but the only thing that helped me on the long term was my acupuncture sessions with Nate. I’m so thankful for his work, which is not only needle related, he always have some wise words, it’s a lifestyle and you need to work on yourself but I couldn’t started it without him. Thank you again !
